The section of R40 towards Hazyview is always clogged with trucks going around the circle at Casterbridge. Traffic is delayed because of it and then you get those passing trucks on an uphill and a double line. Then you get the weekend incidents on the same road because it has also become the norm to overtake on the uphill with a double solid line. A problem that could have been solved with the previously proposed bypass. Julie Esquino

White River's roads are shocking, and it doesn't look like the municipality is planning on doing anything soon. Why do we even pay rates and taxes? I live in Mbombela (where the roads are only slightly better), and drove through White River the other day. It's a disgrace to see our towns in the state that they are! Jenny Avery
