BOK FEVER! Plan ahead to avoid disappoint­ment

With tens of thousands of fans expected to make their way to Mbombela and surrounds on the weekend of August 6, it is essential that proper planning is done to ensure the best possible experience for you, your colleagues, your friends and your family. One of the essential factors to keep in mind, is time.

Getting to the stadium

Fans are encouraged to make use of the convenient park-and-ride system that will be operating to the stadium from 12:00.

A R50 parking fee will be payable at the secure parking at the following park-and-ride pickup points

• Church Unlimited

• Laerskool Laeveld

• Hoërskool Nelspruit

• Laerskool Nelspruit

• Valley Hyper

• Hoërskool Bergvlam

• Lowveld High School

• Nelspruit Primary

• Curro Academy

• The Grove

• Riverside Mall

• Laerskool Witrivier

• Hoërskool Rob Ferreira.

A match ticket includes a stadium return trip on a bus, and no bus ticket fee is payable. Dedicated, clearly marked buses will transport supporters back to pickup points after the match.

The park-and-ride buses will be operationa­l until 22:00.

Early-bird parking at the stadium:

Limited free parking is available from 10:00 on match day at the stadium for supporters who want to make use of early-bird parking, and vehicles will be allowed within the stadium precinct until one hour before kickoff or when parking areas are full.

Only vehicles with hospitalit­y parking tickets will be allowed into the precinct after road closure.

No parking bays may be reserved.

Access roads will be closed once available parking has been occupied and vehicles will be diverted to the park-and-ride pickup points.

Entertainm­ent at the stadium

Fans will be allowed to braai with gas braaiers within the parking areas, provided that it is done behind their vehicles. No open fires will be allowed due to safety reasons. Dedicated braai areas will also be establishe­d within the parking areas where fans can enjoy the day.

Due to limited parking available, no additional parking bays may be utilised to place gazebos, gas braaiers, camping chairs, etc.

An SAB-sponsored beer garden with live entertainm­ent, beverage sales and toilets will be set up on the B and C fields.

There will be 36 serving stations inside the stadium. These will sell a variety of beers, ciders and cooldrinks. Card payments are recommende­d. See detailed map on page 10
