Green and gold wave carries Boks
Over 42 000 fans packed Mbombela Stadium on Saturday to witness the Springboks defeat their age-old foes, the All Blacks, 26-10. The Lowveld had embraced the South African team since they arrived on Sunday July 24. Green and gold fever never burnt so high as when the Lowvelders stood united behind the national team. The stadium was the epicentre of match day, but Bokgees flowed strongly at bars, sports clubs and homes throughout the Lowveld. Read more inside.
