MBOMBELA - Care for Wild has harboured some extraordinary interspecies friendships before with their orphan, Daisy, befriending a zebra foal. Last week, the rhinos added Springboks and Kiwis to their friend list. Care for Wild extended its humblest thanks to the players and management of the Springboks and All Blacks for taking time last week to visit the sanctuary before their game at Mbombela Stadium. “Thank you for wanting to learn more about the rhino poaching crisis and the efforts being made to save a species from extinction,” said the sanctuary. “Rhinos belong to the world, and it is all of our responsibility to save this keystone species. Thank you for welcoming these rhino orphans into your hearts.”
