MBOMBELA - The Harvest 2022 Mbombela event was deemed a great success, with over 3 500 people in attendance at Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday August 17.

The event was hosted by Pr Hennie and Pr Elizna van der Merwe of CRC Mbombela (Christian Revival Church), under the leadership of Pr At and Pr Nyretta Boshoff.

“More than 3 500 people from different walks of life came together at the stadium with the purpose of worshipping God together,” said Hennie.

“Planning for the event was done to the highest standard to make sure people had the best experience.”

Hennie said the entire event was “proudly Mbombela”, meaning that local services and suppliers were used in the planning of Harvest 2022.

Lowvelders flocked to the stadium, as entrance to the event was free. He said the transport for people travelling from Pienaar and KaNyamazane was paid for by the CRC Church.

The CRC band opened the event with heartfelt and soul-warming praise and worship before At took to the stage and brought a life-changing message of healing, hope and restoration for South Africa - that this is our time of healing and revival.

“God’s presence was tangible and over 1 500 people made a decision to commit their lives to Jesus Christ - this is what it is all about and God gets all the glory,” Hennie said.

“We thank everyone involved. Thank you to every CRC member, all individuals, the many churches, schools and businesses who brought people to Harvest to see communities transformed to the glory of God.

“We thank the management of Mbombela Stadium for the excellent service and help to make the event possible, as well as every business in Mbombela that helped.

“Thank you for a wonderful Harvest 2022. We can’t wait to see everyone back for Harvest 2023,” he said.
