People come from far and wide for orchids

MBOMBELA - Afri Orchids held its Open House and International Garden Festival this past weekend with clients coming as far as the Netherlands.

Hosted over two days, the event offered a tea garden, jewellery, ceramics and art, a wine bar run by The Blue Gate, and naturally, all the orchids and other plants one’s heart could desire. The range of orchids and other plants included tillandsias, rare succulents, aroids, ferns, Ecuagenera orchids, bizarre tropical-carnivorous and Hamlyn orchids-Jamaica.

Jolisa Grobler of Afri Orchids said more than 1 300 people made their way to Afri Orchids over the two days the event was hosted.
