Divergent Ops: exciting new developmen­ts in the works

Divergent Ops has been entrenched within the Lowveld community for almost a decade, gaining the trust of the people and ensuring the community’s safety at all costs.

With local security stalwart Tobie du Preez now at the helm of Divergent Ops, the public can expect the same stellar security services the Lowveld has come to rely upon in its years of operation as well as some exciting new developmen­ts and plans for the business’ future.

Du Preez has been a main role player in Divergent Ops since 2016 when he became the operationa­l manager, and has a fierce loyalty to the Lowveld community at large. After managing the dayto-day operations alongside Divergent Ops founder Jacques Meiring for several years, Du Preez’s intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the business and its clients will certainly ensure the company’s continuati­on of excellent and unrivalled security services. His extensive knowledge and experience in the security industry started over two decades ago in 1997 and includes tactical, maritime and military training. Du Preez is an active member of the South African Practical Shooting Associatio­n and a registered advanced firearm instructor and assessor.

community initiative­s and projects.

The company has actively started providing basic to advanced firearm training and has partnered with a registered service provider that will also offer Regulation 21 firearm training for all those involved in the security business.

Du Preez and his team are also happy to announce the rolling out of various financing options, allowing its individual clients the opportunit­y to afford better security.

The Divergent Ops team will be extending this finance plan to businesses as well in the future.

The team’s Riverside office is currently being equipped with top-class technology in aid of fighting crime and protecting the public.

“We want to emphasise that we expect no immediate changes and a will continue to focus on being the elite in Lowveld security and work on bettering our service delivery to the community every day,” said Du Preez.
