New restaurant comes to Emnotweni

- Linzetta Calitz

Bel Ombre, the latest addition to the city’s line of restaurants, has officially opened its doors.

Delicious cocktails awaited the guests as they entered the restaurant on the evening of its official opening at Emnotweni Casino.

Inside, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a pleasing array of booths or tables from which to choose.

As guests enjoyed their starters, Tobie van Schalkwyk, Emnotweni General Manager, explained that the architecture surrounding them drew inspiration from the nearby Lowveld National Botanical Garden with its various textures.

Elaborating on the menu options, he said Bel Ombre offers a myriad of options. You can start your day with a breakfast, and they can take you all the way through to dinner.

The restaurant will follow a seasonal approach - and the menu will be adapted every six months.

The current menu offers delicious variations of chicken, beef, lamb, fish and many more. There are also pizzas and burgers, and the restaurant ensures they cater for those with a sweet tooth as well. Added to all of this is a selection of alcoholic beverages, and a wine list is available.
