Lowveld Security JOC celebrates year of unique, steadfast teamwork
Meintjies said he appreciated the unique team that was formed and thanked everyone who had a part to play in the Lowveld Security JOC
MBOMBELA - After being in operation for over a year now, and several successes under its collective belts, the Lowveld Security Joint Operation Command (JOC) recently celebrated its unique setup during its end-of-year function.
Held at Die Stoor in Claremont on Friday, members of the Lowveld Security JOC gathered together and were presented with certificates for their ongoing dedication to curb crime in Mbombela.
The JOC is made up of multiple local security companies with the support of the Nelspruit Police Station, and was first formed on July 10, 2021, by
Frank Swanepoel of Hi-Tech Security in response to the looting in KwaZulu-Natal.
The idea was to join forces and use the collective manpower and resources to counteract imminent threats, working together to keep the Mbombela community safe.
The JOC is deemed a unique, functional and efficient setup, and has seen several victories since its initial formation.
Swanepoel said he was grateful for the co-operation of all the members within JOC in creating this successful, unified team. “I would also like to thank the members of the Lowveld JOC management team, Shaun Terblanche of Fidelity ADT, Albert Gryvenstein of Bossies Community Justice and director of AG Solutions, and John Meintjies of the Nelspruit CPF and ACS Security for their continued support, dedication and commitment to the JOC. It is really appreciated,” he said.
Meintjies said he appreciated the unique team that was formed and thanked everyone who had a part to play in the Lowveld Security JOC.
Gryvenstein also mentioned the one-ofa-kind structure of JOC and said he was confident that it would continue to grow and operate successfully in the future.
