A night of Absa Top 10 Pinotage wines
MBOMBELA - A stunning showcase of the Absa Top 10 Pinotage wines was hosted at the lavish Orange Restaurant last Thursday, delighting everyone who attended the grand event.
The attendees were dressed in their very best and were treated to drinks of their choice and deliciously decadent canapés while perusing and indulging in the best pinotage wines the country has to offer.
Speaking at the event was Absa Group’s head of relationship banking, Sakkie Linde, as well as revered winemaker Beyers Truter.
Linde congratulated all the winners of the Absa Top 10 Pinotage and Truter spoke about the history of the competition, saying that when it first began, there were only 40 entries. This year, there were about 130.

Warren Ellis of Neil Ellis Wines. wines was difficult for the panel, and that those who won most definitely deserved the recognition.
The evening followed with tastings of the award-winning wines, with many visiting each of the stands a second and third time for another taste.
