Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Nelspruit Airport, this year’s event promises to be the highlight of the aviation calendar. Thrill-seekers and aviation enthusiasts alike are invited to join us on May 11 for an unforgettable day of adrenaline-pumping aerobatics and captivating aerial displays.

As we commemorate three decades of air show excellence, attendees can expect nothing short of spectacular.

Johan Heine, chairperson of the Lowveld Air Show, invites business to become part of this prestigious Lowveld event. Becoming a sponsor presents a unique opportunity for businesses and individuals to expose their brand to more than 8 000 spectators.

Heine said those sponsorships contributes to the success of the air show, enabling organisers to enhance the overall experience for attendees and attract top-tier performers. Moreover, sponsorship offers valuable brand exposure, with opportunities for visibility both during the event and in pre-event marketing efforts.

From the graceful manoeuvres of classic aircraft to the cutting-edge performances of modern planes, the skies above Mbombela will come alive with the thrilling sights and sounds of aviation prowess.

But the excitement doesn’t end there. Ground attractions will abound, with a dedicated kiddies’ play area ensuring that young aviation enthusiasts are just as entertained as their adult counterparts. Explore stalls and exhibitions showcasing the latest in aviation technology, and as day turns into night, prepare to be dazzled by a breathtaking fireworks display lighting up the sky in a dazzling array of colours.

In an exciting development, Heine has announced that Airlink committed to supporting three air shows this year, with the Lowveld Air Show being one of them. This announcement places attendees in a uniquely fortunate position, affording them the rare opportunity to witness the Embraer 190 aircraft up close and personal as it graces the runway.
