ABC of CBD

HERE’S HOW EVERYTHING UNFOLDED

-

DAY1

Thirty minutes after giving them pet CBD oil, they have the zoomies (running around in circles for no reason). An hour later, they’re asleep, but I can’t tell if it’s the zoomies that did the trick or the CBD, which is said to aid sleep and anxiety.

DAY2

I give them CBD oil after breakfast, but it does little to calm Bailey down. I can hear him scratching at the bathroom door this morning. I follow up with another dose this evening and again, they seem slightly calmer tonight.

DAY3

I mix the oil in their breakfast today. Though they both seem more chilled, Bailey is barking and whining when I leave home. But I’m pleasantly surprised when there are no massive craters in the yard when I get back.

DAY4

Bailey doesn’t bark as much when I leave again today, according to my mom. The CBD oil seems to have more of an effect if I give 10ml twice a day (I gave them a dose last night and this morning and will give it again tonight).

DAY5

I’m not sure if it’s because he’s older or if the product had more of an effect on him, but Bailey does seem to be more laidback than Olive. He used to bark at himself in the mirror to get attention when we play with Olive, but for the past few days we haven’t seen any of those antics.

DAY6

It’s raining cats and dogs tonight. There’s thunder and lightning and it’s all very, very frightening, especially for Olive. I give both dogs a dose of CBD to calm them down during the thunderstorm. Thirty minutes later, Olive has stopped barking and is curled up in a ball on the bed, asleep.

DAY7

Bailey still whines when I leave home but not quite as much as before. He also doesn’t dig massive holes in the yard. The CBD seems to work better for his separation anxiety than Olive’s hyperactivity, so now I’m seriously considering buying another bottle of RETHINK Pet CBD Oil, particularly for those stormy nights.
