SLING LAUNCHES ITS HIGH WING AT AIRVENTURE

-

Sling Aircraft announces its brand new Sling TSi High Wing at AirVenture, Oshkosh. At a press conference held on Thursday, July 25th at the Sling Aircraft show stand, Mike Blyth and James Pitman introduced the new 4-seat Sling TSi High Wing which the company has already started developing.

This aircraft, from the world-renowned Sling family of aircraft has been very well accepted worldwide with the first order for the Sling TSi High Wing being taken at AirVenture. This now takes orders for Sling Aircraft over the 500 mark after several additional orders for other Sling models were taken at the show this year.

The wing will be the same metal cantilever wing that is found on the Sling TSi and will also be powered by the same Rotax 915 iS engine.

African Pilot interviewed the two intrepid aviators on video who stated that by AirVenture 2020, the two of them will be flying the prototype Sling TSi High Wing from South Africa to AirVenture, Oshkosh, something they have done successfully several times in past years in other Sling Aircraft, to demonstrate the ability of this superbly manufactured South African design. Naturally African Pilot will be following the progress of this new type in the Sling stable and we will keep readers posted as time goes by.
