As an internationally recognised propeller overhaul and maintenance organisation, Propeller Centre has a vast array of expertise in the ever-developing world of aircraft propellers. Founded in 1977 by Theuns Du Toit Snr, an intuitive and highly experienced aircraft engineer, Propeller Centre has thrived in delivering the very best in quality and prompt service both in the shop, as well as all over the globe for more than 40 years.
With an attentive and driven group of experienced staff dedicated to the maintenance and overhaul of aircraft propellers of all shapes and sizes, the quality of workmanship is of the highest standard set anywhere in the world. Whilst Propeller Centre represents all the main propeller manufacturers, the company also provides overhaul and maintenance of the lesser known manufacturers.
Propeller Centre has the capability of conducting every process and rework scheme required for propeller overhaul, repairs and maintenance of the various manufacturers, along with product backing from these manufacturers allows for thorough service and prompt turnaround times.
In addition to the propeller shop, Propeller Centre has its Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) division, capable of carrying out various NDT protocols at its Wonderboom facility. NDT capability goes well beyond propellers as testing includes engine parts, crankcases, engine mounts and a host of other requirements. Since 2014 Propeller Centre has been a proud World Aircraft Propeller Association (WAPA) member with a director on the board of this industry body.
Professional Flight Centre (PFC) is a well-known flight school that operates in collaboration with five Gauteng High Schools: Montana, Garsfontein, Eldoraigne, Kempton Park, Hoërskool and Prestige College Hammanskraal.
PFC provides professional flight training from Private Pilot Licence (PPL) to Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) and also specialises in Cessna 210 conversions.
PFC has a SACAA approved PPL examination centre available for all students wishing to write their online examinations. At PFC you can be assured of receiving quality airline pilot training.
