The Absolute Aviation Group is the exclusive representative in Southern Africa for Textron Aviation’s Beechcraft and Cessna products. In 2014, Beechcraft Corporation was purchased by Textron Inc. and today all Beechcraft family aircraft are marketed internationally together with Cessna aircraft.

King Air C90GTx

Key enhancements to the King Air C90GTx turboprop include an increase in maximum gross weight and the addition of composite winglets, which improve climb performance and further increase fuel efficiency. The maximum take-off weight of the C90GTxhas been increased by 385 pounds to 1,485 pounds. This increase in maximum weight provides the new C90GTx turboprop with a full-fuel payload capability of more than 700 pounds; almost double that of the previous C90GTi aircraft model and ahead of any entry level jet. The ability to carry more fuel with higher payloads increases the fourpassenger range by more than 150 nautical miles.

The durable King Air C90GTx turboprop is extremely adaptable. It is capable of operating from remote, unimproved fields as easily as it flows into congested terminal airspace, providing operators with the versatility to utilise airports inaccessible to most jets. The C90GTx features a cabin 50 percent larger than most very light jets. In addition to the pilot, it seats up to seven passengers in its famed squared oval design, allowing greater passenger comfort. It includes an in-flight accessible, heated and pressurised baggage storage area along with a private aft lavatory. The King Air C90GTx turboprop now comes standard with a fully integrated Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion™ avionics’ system, replacing the previous Collins Pro Line 21™. However, the King Air’s singular blend of versatility, ruggedness, comfort and quality is unchanged.

King Air 250

The King Air 250 is the world’s most popular business turboprop. The aircraft is able to land on many unimproved runways and performs well in a wide range of conditions. The King Air 250 turboprop accomplishes these tasks better than any other aircraft in its class. With the addition of composite components and the Raisbeck Ram Air Recovery System that ensures maximum power, the King Air 250 turboprop continues to build on the reputation of keeping its passengers comfortable. The King Air 250 turboprop’s composite winglets and propellers deliver substantial improvements in take-off performance, increasing-speed, range and climb.

With a spacious, handcrafted interior, the King Air 250 turboprop is remarkably versatile and comfortable. The square-oval cabin provides passengers with generous head and shoulder room. Elegant interior touches make the King Air 250 turboprop a serious business solution with outstanding amenities to match.

The King Air 250 turboprop features BLR Aerospace composite winglets to improve efficiency in all phases of flight, composite propellers which provide new technology and lighter weight and engine induction modifications to increase performance. The resulting take-off performance is better than its predecessor, the B200GT and the older any other B200. At maximum gross weight, the take-off distance over a 50-foot obstacle is only 2,111 feet from sea level airports, which is 400 feet shorter than the B200GT. The new hot/ high take-off performance is even more exceptional. At maximum gross weight, from a 5,000-foot elevation airport at 25°C, the takeoff distance over a 50-foot obstacle is 3,099 feet, which is a 700 feet improvement over its predecessor.

Beechcraft designed the King Air 250 turboprop to achieve its excellent field performance without making any significant tradeoffs. In fact, the King Air 250 offers slight increases in high speed cruise, climb performance and range over its predecessor. The shorter runway capability found in the King Air 250 turboprop provides access to more than 1,100 airports that were previously unavailable to operators, allowing them to spend less travel time door-to-door by flying closer to their final destinations. As with the King Air C90GTx turboprop and King Air 350i, turboprop, the King Air 250 turboprop features the Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion ™ Avionics Suite.

King Air 350i

With class leading capabilities and efficiency, the next–generation King Air 350i turboprop is the responsible, sustainable alternative for business aviation. As its segment’s greenest aircraft, the King Air 350i turboprop can take more passengers further on less fuel

showing consistent savings for one’s business. State-of-the-art design and performance enhancements represent new heights of power and durability.

In late 2015, Beechcraft introduced Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion as the standard avionics for the King Air family. Replacing the previous Pro Line 21 system, Pro Line Fusion is an intuitive touch-screen flight deck that simplifies how we aviate, navigate and communicate. Featuring standard synthetic vision and enhanced situational awareness, there is no need to search through FMS menus. It’s where the power of simplicity meets cutting-edge performance, durability and reliability. Pilots can enjoy direct access to critical information such as waypoints, routing, weather and all flight planning tools. Pro Line Fusion allows for heads-up flying rather than searching through menus and pages of flight data. All this displayed on three 14-inch, touch screen displays.

The sleek interior design of the King Air 350i turboprop spotlights the unparalleled cabin capabilities. The updated interior includes all-new headliner, seat tailoring and tables, electrochromic window darkeners, LED lighting and increased legroom. In addition, the King Air 350i turboprop includes an optional vanity in the aft lavatory area that incorporates a variety of toiletry storage areas, running water, automatic LED lighting and dual mirrors and is located next to the King Air 350i turboprop’s in-flight accessible baggage area for total passenger privacy and convenience. Whether one is travelling to major airports or unimproved airstrips, the versatility and comfort of the King Air 350i turboprop will show one why pilots, companies and governments in 105 countries have trusted more than 6,500 7,300 King Airs over the years – more than any other business aircraft. If one requires extended range or high–performance special mission aircraft, the endurance and economy of the new King Air 350ER (Extended Range) turboprop delivers the ultimate solution. This King Air can be custom modified to address the unique challenges of special mission operations.
