Offered as a versatile airframe that can be easily customised, the Guardian 400’s flexible architecture allows operators to select sensor equipment, interior layouts and landing gear configuration to suit their specific mission profile. The Guardian 400’s low acquisition and operating costs, off-strip STOL capability, low speed manoverability and multi-role versatility make it the cost-effective solution for 21st century special mission requirements.

In 2020 Viking celebrates its 50th anniversary in the Canadian aerospace industry, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey to become a dynamic world-class organisation that embraces new technology and innovative product and process development in support of legendary Canadian aircraft. Viking is the Type Certificate holder for all out-of-production De Havilland Canada aircraft (DHC-1 through the DHC-7) and all Canadair amphibious aircraft, including CL-215, CL-215T & CL-415 aerial firefighters. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for these iconic Canadian aircraft designs, Viking fully supports a diverse global operator base with exclusive factory spare parts manufacturing, in-service engineering and technical support, technical publications, warranty administration, as well as field service support.
