LEGEND 540

The Legend 540 ultralight aircraft is an all-composite, high-wing, strut-braced two-seater with a maximum take-off weight of 472.5 kg. This aircraft is suitable for sport and recreational flying, flight training and touring. Thanks to its high performance the plane may also be used for towing gliders. The ultralight Legend aircraft provides spacious area for two people and their baggage. Large doors enable comfortable entry and baggage handling. Adjustable seats ensure an optimal position for pilots of all heights. Four-point harnesses and a solid Kevlar cabin with a rocket rescue system ensure the maximum safety of the crew during emergency situations.

The wing tanks hold a total volume of 100 litres, whilst the engine has a mechanical fuel pump backed by an electric pump. The Legend 540 is powered by either a Rotax ULS, Rotax 912 iS or Rotax 914 UL 2 turbo. Propellers offered are two bladed electrically adjustable Woodcomp SR-3000/2W propeller or three bladed ground adjustable aeroelastic Woodcomp Propulse or two bladed electrically adjustable Woodcomp Varia-2 propeller and three bladed ground adjustable aeroelastic DUC propeller. Adjustable propellers are controlled by an electronic constant speed unit.
