BUSHBABY
Produced since 1993, the original Bushbaby has made a name for itself as true ‘little bush plane’ with fixed undercarriage either tricycle of tail wheel. Modelled around the popular Kitfox 4 and the Avid Flyer, the Bushbaby has proven itself in the harsh African environment.
This aircraft utilises the Rotax 912 UL or ULS driving a Warp drive FP-propeller and a fuel burn of between 12 and 20 litres / hour. With a fuel tank capacity of 105 litres this provides for an endurance of up to 1 000 km or 6.5 hours. Standard avionics include the MGL iEFIS Explorer, MGL radio or other options. Presently there are about 160 Bushbaby aircraft flying today.
