EXPLORER

-

Produced since 2003 and larger than the Bushbaby, the Explorer is an extremely popular aircraft amongst the larger boys. It has a larger cabin area, more tail area and a larger luggage area.

It has good STOL capabilities, even without the STOL conversion. The Explorer falls comfortably in the LSA or UL-600 category with empty weights around 340-360kg including a ballistic parachute rescue system. This leaves ample room for exploring new frontiers whilst carrying a 105-litre fuel load and 30kg of luggage.

With cruise speeds ranging from 85 to 105 knots depending on engine and propeller combinations. With excellent STOL capabilities and good range, the Explorer will take you to many back-country places.
