DART AERONAUTICAL DER

An aircraft is not considered airworthy until the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) modification is completed by the AMO and approved by the SACAA after any installation or modification (avionics / electrical / instrument alterations) is applied to your aircraft. Dart Aeronautical is now officially recognized and approved by the Director of the SACAA as a Certification Designated Engineering Representative (DER). Dart will finalise your SACAA STC modification paperwork for the new equipment at the same time of installation.

The final modification approval certificate will be delivered with an equipment list update inside your aircraft on delivery, approved by our SACAA Engineering Representative (DART-DER-01). An approved supplement to your aircraft flight manual, including complete equipment maintenance instructions (where applicable) will be issued with the CRMA for your records, future operations and necessary pilot familiarisation training. Full electrical load analysis on the new equipment installed, accompanied by an electro-magnetic interference analysis report will be made available to you after Installations is completed.

You can fly with ease of mind to know that your brand-new equipment is legally installed and approved according to the regulations (SA-CAR).This also makes selling or upgrading your aircraft easier with all the necessary aircraft paperwork correct and in place for the next owner to operate legally and according to aircraft technical standards (SA-CATS). Dart Aeronautical will be sure to obtain all the necessary STC documentation from the OEM on purchase and will make it available to you upon request. This service is limited to equipment purchased with an STC developed by the equipment manufacturer (OEM) and is installed by Dart Aeronautical.
