Based at Lanseria International Airport, Aspire Aviation (Pty) Ltd is an innovative, progressive South African Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation. Aspire Aviation is the only authorised service centre on the African continent for Embraer executive and commercial aircraft that is focused on delivering a personalised experience to aircraft owners and operators, ensuring the continued safe operation of customers aircraft assets with the aim of becoming the preferred MRO.
Aspire Aviation holds approvals to maintain aircraft on the National Regulatory registers of South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Ethiopia and Bermuda with more certifications to follow as the company’s team of Aviation Maintenance Engineers (AME’s) are certified to carry out maintenance on aircraft airframes, engines and avionics for a range of aircraft, including Bombardier, Dassault, Cessna, Embraer, Beechcraft and Hawker types. On 1 June 2020 Lanseria Jet Centre changed its name to become Aspire Aviation and in August of 2020 the company embarked on a re-branding exercise.
This has afforded Aspire Aviation to start on an exciting new chapter to future growth, a new beginning, so to speak. Aspire Aviation together with its Fixed Base Operator (FBO) lounge is truly proud to showcase its new clean and vibrant image at Lanseria International Airport. Aspire Aviation realises the importance of supporting sustainability in aviation sector and within its facility, striving to offer several supporting aviation services to aircraft owners via key partnerships. Starting with the Aspire Training Room which has been created to cater for both in house training as well as for outside trainers to host aviation related training. In addition to partnerships, with a wheel and brake overhaul facility, JMAC Aerospace Services as well as Executive Aircraft Refurbishment thereby enabling Aspire Aviation to extend its service offering at Lanseria International Airport.
The ability to touch lives and make a difference prompted Aspire Aviation to look for areas of local social responsibility which will not only assist the locally community but also present opportunities for the youth to be introduced to Aviation. By planting a seed for future interest in the aviation sector, this may lead to employment and wealth creation. Partnering with local Kwena Malopa Secondary School and Camas SA Aviation Academy (a subsidiary of PSS Aviation) Aspire Aviation has embarked on promoting aviation to the youth through its social responsibility initiatives.
The Aspire Aviation Team is ready to offer maintenance and maintenance support both locally and on the continent. The company looks forward to welcoming both existing and new clients to come and experience its new look and feel as the company embarks on a new growth phase on the African continent.
