SAFOMAR AVIATION OPERATIONS

SAO is a South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) certified Aviation Training Organisation (ATO- 0385) offering superior flying training services through a team of highly motivated and experienced instructors. The staff are backed up by a diverse fleet of impeccably maintained helicopters and aircraft that are suitable for a variety of applications.

Safomar moved from Grand Central airport to Rand airport in September 2020, into hangar 18 where its fixed wing and rotorcraft Aircraft Maintenance Organisation (AMO) is based. The SAO head office is presently accommodated within the double story building, referred to as the ‘white house’, just past the entrance to the main terminal building.
