• EasyWeather which provides real-time radar and satellite overlays from SA Weather Services, via 3G/4G internet connection in flight. Depending on GPRS reception, it is updated every 15 to 20 minutes automated via the auto download function. Apart from Metars and TAFs at airports with weather stations, EasyWeather also provides forecast winds on the grid at different flight levels, giving wind speed, wind direction, temperature, cloud cover, relative humidity and dew point. Particularly useful if you are looking for that elusive tailwind at a different flight level.
