Aerocolour cc. was formed in 2005 by Mr. Alfred Maraun, Mr. Graeme Clarke and Mr. Carlo Talevi, and we have been based at Lanseria Airport, Hangar M5, South Africa since being established.
We are a privately owned Aircraft Refurbishment facility in Southern Africa. We have the confidence of a wide variety of Aviation Customers. Aerocolour’s hard-won reputation is built on excellent workmanship, after sales service and product support as well as personal customer relations, which have earned the confidence of manufacturers and customers alike.
The company is currently owned by Mr. Alfred Maraun and Mr. Ricardo Talevi. We operate under South Africa Aircraft Maintenance Organization Certificate AMO 882. Our core business is made up of private and corporate general aviation aircraft owners as well as aviation service providers and sales companies to whom we provide aircraft refurbishment. We proudly provide the service that our clients have come to expect from Aerocolour cc.
A) Facilities: Mr.Alfred Maraun (over 30 years aircraft refurbishment experience) assumes the position of General Manager and handles everything entailed in the day to day running of the company as well as spraying, customizing and refurbishment of aircraft. Mr. Moses Chimhanda is the paintshop manager and assists with the day to day running as well as spraying and various other responsibilities. In our Finance and Admin Department we are fortunate to have Mrs. Desiré Maraun who handles all our office, financial and human resources requirements. We currently have 10 manual laborers.
B) Customer Base: Aerocolour cc’s broad base of customers stretches throughout South Africa and Southern Africa, as well as UAE and certain Northern African countries. Aerocolour is a trusted service provider throughout the aviation industry. We supply services to companies such as Airbus South Africa, Aeronautic Solutions, King Air Services, Capital Air, Zenith Air, TPSC, Bhakari Aviation, N.A.C., Zulu Aviation, Absolute Aviation Services, Century Avionics, Lanseria Jet Centre, and many more renowned aviation companies.
C) Technical Abilities: Mr. Alfred Maraun has a vast portfolio and has worked on a large variety of aircraft (both fixed wing and rotor craft.)
* Paint strip and re-spray of parts as well as complete aircraft.
* Scuff and re-spray of parts and complete aircraft.
* Touch up and repair of parts or specific areas on aircraft.
* Painting of high visibility blades, UV window protectiion, wingwalk/catwalk (non-slip) surfaces and suede coatings on interior plastics.
D) Business Objectives: Aerocolour’s history indicates that we could anticipate a continuous steady growth in an increasingly improving and exciting Aviation industry by providing the most efficient service to our customers - existing and new - by striving to excel in what we do. With our expertise, well-established suppliers network and relations and efficiency we will continue to focus our efforts on our core business not excluding the possibility of widening our horizons should opportunities present itself.
E) Marketing: Aerocolour’s marketing efforts concentrates on printed and digital Advertising. Further we rely on word of mouth advertising and our excellent level of workmanship to speak for itself.
F) Justification: What sets Aerocolour cc apart is contained but not limited to this document. We are loyal to our suppliers and their products as well as our customers and their requirements. We, as the owners, have a personal interest in succeeding and keeping and making Aerocolour the best aircraft refurbishment facility.
