SACAA AMO 1089

As an established Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO1089) with SACAA and other African Countries CAA accreditation to perform component maintenance and overhaul capabilities under its Category B rating, AviSys Aviation Systems is equipped to cater for its customer’s needs as per the SACAA approved capability list and operational specifications on the following:

Brake Shop is equipped to work on mainly 727, 737, DASH 8, DC 9, EMBREAR, PILATUS PC12 and Hawker HS125, King Air Series and Beech 1900 brake assemblies. On arrival all brakes are visually inspected and an assessment is carried out. They are then stripped down to individual components, where a more in-depth inspection process is carried out, using the latest Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques (dye penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current and ultra-sonic) testing. Worn or faulty parts are either repaired or replaced, in accordance with the component maintenance manual from the OEM. The brake assembly is then reassembled, tested and given a final inspection, before being returned to the customer with full release to service certification.

Wheel Shop has capability to maintain almost any wheel assembly; at present its role is to maintain B727 & B737, LearJet, Citation, Dornier Jet, PILATUS PC12, Beech 1900 C& D and King Air Series, Dash 8 as just some of the wheel assembly types. On arrival all wheel assemblies will be stripped, cleaned and inspected. All the wheels are NDT inspected and parts are either repaired or replaced, in accordance with the component maintenance manual of the OEM. Wheels are then reassembled; a leak check is carried out and then the final inspection before returning to the customer with full certification.

Landing Gear Shop is fully SACAA accredited for both overhaul and repairs. The AviSys facility contains a fully equipped machine shop with capabilities that allow the AMO to take full accountability and responsibility for landing gear repairs. Aircraft main and nose wheel assemblies for B737 / Douglas DC9, EMBREAR 120 & 145 Series, Hawker HS Series and Beechcraft KingAir Series and B1900 aircraft.

Additional capabilities include helicopter servo actuator repair and overhaul, flexible hose manufacture and engine fire bottles HPT and servicing.
