SAM is a world-class helicopter maintenance facility, staffed by highly experienced factory-trained helicopter maintenance engineers. The facility was established from the need to provide superior maintenance services to the helicopter industry. SAM is a SACAA certified Aviation Maintenance Organisation and currently holds licenses to maintain Enstrom, Robinson, Bell, Airbus and MBB- BK117 helicopters. Based at hangar 18 Rand Airport.

Safomar Aviation Maintenance, through its holding company, represents and distributes Enstrom and Leonardo AW09 Helicopters. As well as parts, offering logistic support, factory repairs and overhaul of components (with warranty) directly from us being the sole distributor at favourable prices. In addition, the facility offers helicopter balancing and tracking services, using the latest state-of-the-art advanced Helitune Systems, away from base maintenance support and helicopter hangar parking and thereby ensuring complete customer service.
