Patients wanted for robbing doctor
POLICE are seeking the assistance of the public with locating two men who posed as patients and were involved in a business robbery in Grassy Park.
Policen said the robbery took place at a doctor’s surgery last month.
The robbers posed as patients before they attacked and tied up the doctor and assistant. They robbed the staff and patients of their belongings.
Provincial police spokesperson Sgt Noloyiso Rwexana said: “Grassy Park police are seeking the assistance of the community in locating the suspects who are wanted in connection with a business robbery on May 31 about 12.30pm at a surgery between Perth and Prince George Drive, in 5th Avenue, Grassy Park.”
According to reports, the two men entered the surgery and posed as patients. The suspects then threatened the doctor and the assistant with a firearm and tied them up before robbing them and two patients of cash, cellphones and valuables.

Police also urged people to become involved in the reward system.
Rwexana said: “Police are further appealing to the broader community to get involved in the reward system.
“This system allows any adult member of the community to become proactively involved in the prevention of crime. Crime and criminals can be reported and a reward could be received by the reporter.”
