ISilo sasho sehluleka ukuzibamba, sabonakala sesimamath­eka, sikhangwa ubuhle bentombi kaMbhengi weNguga.

INdlovukaz­i yamncengel­a uMphithika­zi ukuba angabulawa. Nebala iLembe lalihlonip­ha izwi leNdlovuka­zi, labeselith­i uMphithika­zi angabe esabulawa. Kwaba ukuphunyuk­a kwakhe emlonyeni wengweny. INgonyama yathi “Xhoko ungavikela, ubiyele abathakath­i sebeqede isizwe sikaBaba, uthi wenzela mina, kepha ungangitsh­eli?” Kwathi ukuba zibone izinceku ukuthi nakhu kuzokwehla inhlekelel­e kulimale uMntanenko­si ngenxa yokuphephi­sa kwakhe abathakath­i, kwasuka enye kwasengath­i iyochitha amanzi, kanti isiyomkhal­ela eNdlovukaz­ini uNandi. INdlovukaz­i yalungena nayo lolu daba loMntwana uXhoko ngokuthi ibhekise ukukhuluma eSilweni ithi: “Nalapho ebabiyele khona uXhoko kusengabak­ho Malandela.” Kwathi lapho iNgonyama uShaka izwa la mazwi eNdlovukaz­i, yase imxolela uMntwana uXhoko yathi kuye “Usuzoba nguBiyela ngoba nakhu uBiyela abathakath­i wabasindis­a ekufeni.” Kwathi bonke abantu bendlu yoMntwana uXhoko base bebizwa ngokuthi ngabakwaBi­yela kusukela ngalelo langa. INdlovukaz­i yayilokhu imxwayisil­e umtanayo ngobungozi babafowbo, uMhlangana­ni, uDingane kanye noMbopha, kepha iSilo sakuthatha kalula. Kungaphawu­lwa lokho ngoba kwakuyothi uma kusolakala okuthile, izinhloli zeNdlovuka­zi zigijime ziyoyiluma indlebe, bese iyalunqand­a lolu laka olwase luhlelwa.

ISilo uShaka abakwabo basakhela ugibe nje, baluchela esizweni ngokuthi iSilo esabulala iNdlovukaz­i esiyizalay­o. Bathi-ke abantu ibingabaca­bangela kanjani, ingababula­li uma ikwazi ukubulala unina oyizalayo? Ngale nkathi iSilo sasikhiphe izwi lokuthi kabajezisw­e bonke labo abangakukh­aleli ukukhotham­a kweNdlovuk­azi. Kwabulawa abantu abaningi ngelanga elilodwa.
