LIV AVAIL 3

LLiv is Giant’s range of bikes for women, which have all been designed with the female body in mind. Almost everything has been tweaked, from frame geometry to the mix of components: shorter stems, brake levers closer to the bars, and women-specific saddles. The Avail 3 is a 2018 model, and offers great value. The frame is designed for a relaxed riding position – more upright than stretched out.

It has a Shimano Claris drivetrain, and an understated colour scheme; and the top-bar brake levers are a nice touch – beginners can get familiar with the bike without having to ride on the hoods.

It’s a svelte little bike at a very modest price
