If you’re a bike nerd, you’ll have heard of Gérard Vroomen – the Dutch-born mechanical engineer who founded Cervélo and turned it into the largest triathlon bike maker in the world. After he left Cervélo, Vroomen co-founded Open Cycles with Andy Kessler, the former CEO of BMC. He’s also involved behind the scenes at 3T. [See the 3T Strada on p53 – Ed.] Vroomen is a visionary in the world of bike design, constantly pushing against the status quo and solving problems we didn’t know we had. Bravo, Gérard!
