FFor less than R11k, you get a neat beginner 29er, with a lightweight alloy frame featuring internal cable routing (seriously!), a 100mm Suntour XCR air shock, decent tubeless tyres (Maxxis Crossmark II 2.25”) and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. The Shimano Altus 3x9 drivetrain is okay; it might be worth upgrading to 2x11 or 1x11 in time.
