is 66.6° in the low setting (nice touch, Evil) or 66° in extra low. The result is a supremely balanced 29er that’s planted rather than playful. The supple suspension accentuates this sensation, and gives the rider confidence to push harder and wring more speed out of the trail. It’s no slouch going uphill, either. The Offering pedals efficiently and has better than average rearwheel traction, a centred riding position, and crisp steering. Frame weight is the same as the Following – and in fact, because of the newer geometry, the Offering climbs better than the Following overall. The Following is known for its snappy playfulness, the Wreckoning for its downhill prowess. The Offering splits the difference, and offers notes of both. It’s an excellent do-it-all trail bike.
