PYGA STAGE MAX

TThe Stage Max is as versatile a bike as you’re likely to find in 2019; it’s a longer-legged version of the Pyga Stage. Whereas the latter has 110mm of rear travel and up to 120mm up front, the Max is designed around 130mm and 140mm respectively.

The Stage has proven itself at every major mountain-bike race in the country, and while the Max might be cushier than its XC-focused sibling, you could still easily use it for something like the Attakwas, or even the Cape Epic.

The difference here is that the Max can also shred downhill courses that might make the Stage tremble at the knees. It’s an excellent, well-priced all-rounder, designed right here in Howick and perfectly suited to South African conditions.
