THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD IS AT STAKE – and cycling is the answer. // WE’RE AT A CROSSROADS IN OUR HUMAN EVOLUTION, AND WE NEED TO GRAB THIS CHANCE TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. We need to ride our bikes everywhere! To work, to the shops, to friends (when we can!) and to school. // THE WORLD IS ALREADY AHEAD OF US. Major metropoles are turning city centres into car-free zones, having realised the humble bicycle is the solution to all these new-age catastrophes – Covid-19, the environment, traffic jams, stress… // BECOME AN ADVOCATE. Spread the word. Buy someone a bike, or lend them one of yours. Let them see what’s possible with a chain and two wheels. If you own a business, challenge and incentivise your people to ride to work. Offer them an interest-free loan, build a shower, and make sure they have a safe place to store their bikes. // TEACH YOUR KIDS TO RIDE BICYCLES, FOR IT IS THEIR FUTURE WE ARE LOOKING OUT FOR. Encourage beginners and slower riders, because they will be the face of the new culture. // THERE MAY NEVER BE A BETTER TIME TO CHANGE THE WORLD WE LIVE IN. If enough of us strive for a more progressive, peaceful and happier future, through our love for the bicycle, we influence others to understand its potential. // CYCLING MUST BE MORE THAN JUST SPORT AND RECREATION. It must be more than just Sunday rides, coffee stops, weekend races and power zones.
