THE RIDER HAYLEY VAN DEVENTER

An architectural artist who lives in Cape Town. She rides the odd marquee event such as the Cape Town Cycle Tour, but mostly she just enjoys weekend rides to scenic places on the Peninsula. She didn’t want a racing road bike, and she didn’t want a mountain bike. Rather, she wanted a bike that was smooth and efficient on tar, but which could also handle the odd farm road or green-belt detour.
