The coolest thing about the

Lezyne Mega Drive 1800i is that it can run off its internal battery for more than an hour and a half at full power, or you can connect it to an external battery pack that attaches to your frame (R1 185), and double the run time to nearly three and half hours.

Using one of the six lesspowerful modes, run time is dramatically increased – up to 40 hours in flash mode. Recharging happens via a micro-usb cable.

Constructed from durable aluminium with cooling fins for improved performance, and weighing less than a small block of butter (237g), it’s a great all-round light. It will do duty for early-morning mountain-bike rides when you need all the light you can get, or for road rides where your visibility to motorists is paramount.
