Dawn Women's Month Event

This year’s Dawn Women’s Month Event was a step up from last year’s Mentor Meet-up event with even more lucky winners attending, more special guests and more inspiring speakers.

Bona - - Masterclass -

Dawn kicked off the day by reminding ladies that the first step to ‘owning your day’ is to deeply moisturise with Dawn, to ensure a full 24 hours of silky soft, glowing skin with a beautiful, lasting fragrance.

Dawn also reminded guests that they are entitled to dream big and should embrace all opportunities to progress in their lives. MC for the day was gorgeous Pearl Modiadie, who helped to facilitate the inspiring conversations among the remarkable women at the event.

Guests were treated to a series of 4 panel discussions with speakers including Dr Tshepiso Matentjie (psychologist and life coach), Doris Msibi (CEO of The Image Firm), Allegro Dinkwanyane (Orgella Media founder and CEO) and Kholofelo Selatlha, (a medical doctor and actress), as well as a host of other incredible speakers. DJ Zinhle also discussed her new book (Meeting Your Power), all about women’s self-development and got the day going with an energizing DJ set.

Mentorship was an important pillar of the day and Raylene Martin of Getto Girls and the team from Dream Girls brought this home, making guests aware of the opportunities that exist for them in this space.

At the event Vuyo Mhlope, Marketing Manager from BET Africa announced a partnership with Dawn and Black Girls Rock which will send one lucky winner and a friend to LA for an all-expenses paid experience to go the Black Girls Rock Awards ceremony in 2019.*
