Bona - - Motoring -

Don’t put your car into neutral mode on a downhill. This may sound like a good way of saving fuel, but it means no engine braking. Not only is it hard on the brakes, it is also unsafe as the car can quickly reach uncontrollable speed. Rather shift down gear by gear until the lowest to keep the speed under control, and preserve the brakes.
