Animal health in SA ‘unenviable’

The lack of capacity of the state to maintain good animal health status was an unenviable situation facing the country, Simphiwe Duma, the CEO of the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA), said yesterday. He was launching a newly established Tshwane Animal Health Cluster to improve services for livestock farming and agri-business.
