Call to deal with spatial planning

While the government had provided 3-million subsidised houses since 1994, little attention had been given to spatial planning and this needed to be dealt with as many people were far from places of economic opportunity, National Planning Minister Trevor Manuel said yesterday during the International Housing Solutions Developer Conference.
