Rhodes Food Group sells stake

Independent alternative asset manager Capitalworks has bought a majority stake in privately owned Rhodes Food Group for an undisclosed sum. The deal was Capitalworks’ first investment into the consumer food market, the company said. Rhodes, with a turnover of R2bn, manufactures prepared meals, dairy products, pies and canned foods.
