Women Proteas defeat Pakistan

SA secured automatic qualification to the ICC World Twenty20 in 2014 after the team clinched a nail-biting five-wicket victory over Pakistan yesterday in the women’s World Twenty20 tournament in Sri Lanka. Pakistan had earlier been restricted to 87/8 after they won the toss and chose to bat. Seamer Shabnim Ismail returned 3/19 to lead the SA women’s attack.
