ANC launches Cape campaign

The African National Congress (ANC) in the Western Cape will today launch the Chris Hani Volunteer Detachment 5,000 — a group of volunteers that will assist in its election campaign. “The group’s name is in memory of the late Chris Hani, who together with his family has deep roots in this province,” ANC provincial secretary Songezo Mjongile said yesterday.
