Sasol orders ethane cracker item

Sasol said it was placing an order to buy main ethylene compressor trains, a critical long-lead item for an ethane cracker, from MHI Compressor International Corporation. On December 3 last year, Sasol announced the start of the front-end engineering and design phase of a world-scale ethane cracker with downstream derivatives, at its site in Louisiana.
