Employment down by 2.1%

The March employment index from human capital management company Adcorp shows employment declined at an annualised rate of 2.1%, with the economy shedding 33,202 jobs. The Adcorp figures do not usually tally with those from Statistics SA, but some regard the Adcorp index as the most accurate barometer of employment in SA.
