Boost for US business travel

An improving economic outlook with business and consumer confidence on the rise, is expected to boost business travel this year, leading the Global Business Travel Association to upgrade its forecast for the year. US business travel is now expected to rise 5.1% from last year to $268.5bn. This is a big increase from 1.8% growth last year. while 8% are unsure. Of those who backed the poll, just one in five said they consider themselves overweight.
