Millionaire buys island for R34m

A South African has purchased the 17ha island in the archipelago between Greece and Italy for R34m. It was auctioned by Auction Avenue at Sandton’s Maslow Hotel. The rare island auction attracted strong interest from local millionaires and a representative of Auction Avenue said the sale was well attended.
