New audit firm for department

The Gauteng provincial government has appointed audit firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as the new administrator tasked with turning around the province’s health department. Tabling the provincial treasury’s budget vote yesterday, finance MEC Mandla Nkomfe said the audit firm had been appointed on a two-year contract.
