Blasts kill at least 14 in Baghdad

- BAGHDAD

Six explosions battered Shiite and Sunni Muslim districts across Baghdad yesterday, killing at least 14 people and extending a descent into the worst sectarian violence since the civil war five years ago. It reflects tensions between Iraq’s Shiite leaders and the Sunni minority, many of whom believe they have been unfairly treated since the fall of Saddam Hussein.
