Exxaro inks coal deal with Linc Energy

Exxaro yesterday announced an agreement with Australia- and US-listed Linc Energy to develop underground coal gasification projects in subSaharan Africa. Besides receiving A$20m ($19.3) upfront as a technology licensing fee, Linc Energy is gaining the option to raise its stake in the projects to 49%.
